The song, American Revival, was as most of the songs I write, first written for my church ( I am a pastor ). I do not shy away from end time discussions, nor do I shy away from Bible prophecy. Hence this song epitomizes today’s culture and the need for a revival in this country. Many of the signs of the times are included in the lyrics of the song and many would say these are “end time” signs. Therefore the last verse states that America needs a revival before the end begins. I strongly feel that the Holy Spirit has a significant impact on not only my life but also my song writing.
