Since the beginning of the covid19 pandemic thousands of Americans have been having issues paying bills, purchasing essentials such as; food or clothing and many have lost jobs and are unable to maintain rental payments. Many Americans have been alarmed and disappointed at the lack of urgency in addition to the amount of relief extended during this crisis by our government. The first stimulus was for 1000 followed by 600 and now the proposed 1400 has Americans all over wondering what's the hold up and why our government is so tight with funding. The song, American Revival, was as most of the songs I write, first written for my church ( I am a pastor ). I do not shy away from end time discussions, nor do I shy away from Bible prophecy. Hence this song epitomizes today’s culture and the need for a revival in this country. Many of the signs of the times are included in the lyrics of the song and many would say these are “end time” signs. Therefore the last verse states that America needs a revival before the end begins. I strongly feel that the Holy Spirit has a significant impact on not only my life but also my song writing.
